Backstory

In 2021 Portland’s premier diva Bolivia Carmichaels put out a public call for the creation of a directory listing local drag queens and performers. During the same year, local audio/video producer & web developer CJT3 had begun documenting queer nightlife and performances. Once these two ideas were joined together, PDX Divas was created!

Mission

The primary goal of PDX Divas as a platform is to provide quality tools to support the discoverability and financial stability of our community of divas and their projects.
We believe that visibility is important, which is why we document local LGBTQIA2s+ nightlife and performances. These performances can be viewed on our YouTube and other social media accounts.
